Spent 4 days with a few of my closest friends here the first week of September. Everything about this resort is amazing. Best of all is the friendly staff from the minute you get on the water taxi at China Bay you are taken care of with 5 star service. Meals are carefully curated to please everyone. My favorite appetizer was the scallops with risotto. Jeff was our amazing guide and worked very hard everyday on the water to ensure we were on fish and catch our limits, when fish weren’t biting the friendly banter was always great. As all the girls said how did you luck out with Jeff, completely not an understatement he truly is an amazing guide and a friend to all on board. When you are done fishing for the day the processing table was one of the most well organized and seamless operations I have ever seen. Even though this was the last week before the end of their season everyone had a smile and worked together to get it done. There are many activities to do when your not fishing, horseshoes, bocce, poker table, bean bags, golf, I would highly recommend bringing your hiking shoes for the 3 trails on the property, they brought back many fond memories of hiking the west coast trail.The rooms are always clean and well stocked. One of the best salmon fishing trips ever. Clean, friendly, great value, and loads of fun. There is nothing negative to say.The facilities and fantastic. And all the meals were superb.The value was great, meals, transport accommodations, and overall facility and grounds are Wonder. Kits to do even if you don't head out for the fishing. Hiking, kayaks, paddle boarding, and games... lots to do all the time.But the best part was the staff... especially our guide, Dan.This was our second year visiting Eagle Nook, and we were lucky to get Dan again. Super knowledgeable, always knew where the fish were at 😉 but more than that, just a great guy to hang out with for the trip. I would highly recommend both the resort and our guide, but I do know all the guides were fantastic.If you are looking for a fishing trip, you need to short list Eagle nook 100 %.

Over the past 30 years I have fished the west coast of BC. So many lodges and so many wonderful experiences, then Eagle Nook. This lodge exceeded all my expectations, great fishing, wonderful accommodations, fantastic food, excellent staff. This lodge is simply amazing. Small, fantastic scenery, heck you catch fish and then more fish. The guides are knowledgeable and work extremely hard. The lodge staff are very accommodating and extremely pleasant. I doubt I will go to any other place again. Jeff, Dan, thank you, great job.

The Guides, Staff, Food and Accommodation at Eagle Nook Resort are nothing short of amazing. We had a rather large group, and everyone received top notch service from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. The guides were all so knowledgeable and made it so even the least experienced fishermen/women had a awesome time out on the water. Fantastic experience, I would recommend to anyone.

This is a true hidden gem. Over the past 15 years, our crew has fished at a lot of resorts from Haida through to Vancouver island. Dan and his team hosted us on an experience we will not forget. His staff is welcoming and professional, the food is 5 star, the guides are very experienced, work as a team and his entire crew was committed to providing us with an all inclusive trip you do not find often. Thank you Eagle Nook Resort, we will be making this a yearly trip and bringing more staff to share our experience.

Eagle Nook is the best resort I have stayed at in Barkley sound. Sam and the entire team are just incredible. In fact I would rate them in the same class as many of the northern BC lodges. How they treat each and every guest is fantastic. Whether you bring your own boat like I do or charter you are treated no different. I would highly recommend them to anyone. See you again soon.

Eagle Nook was my first ocean fishing experience, and I couldn't have been more pleased. I went in without having or knowing what to expect, and in the end, my stay there exceeded any expectation I could've had. The staff were friendly and accommodating, the fishing guides were in a word - fantastic, and the location, lodge and food - simply excellent. I highly recommend this resort.
